I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work and learn at this school! It is a great transition from the university to the world outside.

Without the safety net of school, everything seems bigger and scarier. SEEMS…well, we all know what they say about the way things seem, but there is some truth behind the way things seem.

What I learned in undergrad really is true: Being an artist is hard, time-consuming, and it is expensive.
It really is work. ALL OF THE TIME.

Finishing up here at Arrowmont….

Senior Thesis Show. done.

BFA. complete.

First Assistantship. almost finished.

Currently making a large drawing in a workshop. That is, when I’m not hanging out in Gatlinburg in all its neon illuminated glory of karaoke, mini golf, and hotdogs.

Final Realization that I will not be returning to my studio and studio mates in the Fall : Pending
